I spent 25 years inside the machine.
Not advising from the outside. Actually in it — as an operator, a builder, a closer. I’ve been the person responsible when the number doesn’t come in. The one on stage making the case for a technology nobody had heard of yet. The executive in the room when the deal falls apart and you have to figure out why.
My last operator role was COO at TigerGraph, an AI and machine learning company — where I also served as CRO for the first three years, building the revenue function from scratch before scaling the team to the point of hiring a CRO who reported directly to me. Over five years, we took it from zero to $30M ARR — 100% year-over-year growth, 125% net dollar retention — and I was personally in the room for the company’s first 130 enterprise deals. We helped raise over $130M alongside the CEO across pre-seed through Series C, expanded globally across EMEA, APAC, and Japan, and built the Graph + AI Summit into a global event that established TigerGraph as a category leader in AI and graph technology.
Before that: 200% ARR growth at Clustrix – a scale out RDBMS. At Dataguise, led the top-performing region with 100%+ yoy growth and built a new cloud sales team from scratch, closing 20 logos in 6 months before I moved on. Four exits across my operator career.
In 2022, I made a deliberate choice not to go back in-house.
The reason comes down to where I can create the most impact. The best advisors aren’t the ones who arrive with a framework and leave with a check — they’re the ones who’ve carried a number, been in the room when the deal falls apart, and rebuilt a sales team mid-quarter. Frameworks are useful. Execution is what moves the needle. That’s what I bring.
I work with early-stage founders who need a partner who’s been in the seat — someone to help close the first enterprise deals, build the GTM foundation, and tell investors a revenue story that holds up. And I work with growth-stage companies that need a fractional revenue executive to own a specific outcome and drive it, not hand it off.
Every company I’ve worked with since 2022 has been an AI or AI enabling company. That’s not a coincidence. I understand how enterprise buyers evaluate AI products because I’ve built them, sold them, and bought them. I know where the GTM motion breaks — because I’ve watched it break, fixed it, and built the version that doesn’t.
I lead every engagement with integrity. That means I’ll tell you what I actually see, not what’s comfortable. It means I get my hands dirty alongside your team. And it means we start with 90 days — because the best partnerships are built on results, not contracts.
I’ve spoken at industry events across the US, Europe, and Asia, published thought leadership picked up by Forbes, VentureBeat, and American Banker, and built the kind of external presence that puts a company on the map.
Most recently, I supported the Graphwise management team through a private equity acquisition by Oakley Capital — a majority share purchase that resulted in a significant increase in company value. As a fractional advisor embedded with the SVP team, I was part of the leadership group that helped position the company for and execute through that transaction.
Outside the Work
I’m born and reside in the SF Bay Area — which, if you know me, means I bleed 49ers red and gold. I love live experiences: concerts, musicals, comedy — something about the spontaneity of a live room that you can’t replicate anywhere else. I’ve been known to fly to Europe for a weekend to catch a concert/musical/opera, which either makes me passionate or slightly unhinged, depending on who you ask.
At home, I cook Italian — a natural consequence of being married to someone of Sicilian heritage. We have two daughters, and between the cooking, the hiking, and the travel, the house is rarely quiet.
That energy is the same thing I bring to every engagement. All in.
